Deep in the heart of Alberta, Canada, there existed a behemoth of a man named Archibald Edward Gouldie, better known to the wrestling world as Mongolian Stomper. Born on November 22, 1944, in Carbon, Alberta, Gouldie's path to greatness was etched from a young age.

As a towering figure at 6 feet 2 inches, with a chiseled physique weighing in at 260 pounds, Mongolian Stomper commanded respect as much for his imposing presence as his formidable wrestling skills. His earliest forays into the world of sports saw him donning the cleats of a football player, but it was clear that the stage beckoned.

On November 13, 1956, Gouldie made his professional wrestling debut, and it marked the beginning of an illustrious career spanning nearly four decades. Dubbed "The Stomper" by fans and foes alike, Mongolian Stomper's rise to prominence was nothing short of meteoric.

Throughout his storied tenure in various promotions, including All Japan Pro Wrestling, National Wrestling Alliance, American Wrestling Association, Smoky Mountain Wrestling, and Stampede Wrestling, Gouldie racked up an impressive array of accolades. The NWA National Championship, Stampede North American Heavyweight Championship, WWC Puerto Rico Heavyweight Championship, DOA Tag Team Championship, and SSW Heavyweight Championship all fell to his mighty grasp.

Though his last match took place on May 10, 1997, Gouldie's impact on the sport of professional wrestling continued long after his retirement on September 2, 1995. On January 23, 2016, the world mourned the loss of Mongolian Stomper, whose passing was attributed to complications from surgery.
