Bayamón's own Super Fenix is the stuff of mythic proportions. This whirlwind of a wrestler, born Gilbert Cruz on November 12th, 1980, has been tearing up the Puerto Rican wrestling scene since his debut in January of 2001.

But don't get it twisted – this phenom wasn't always known as Super Fenix. Oh no, he's had a few monikers under his belt, like Super Gladiador #1, Super Gladiador, Ricky Frontan, and even the enigmatic Super Spoiler. But one thing remains constant: his unrelenting passion for the squared circle.

Fénix has made a name for himself in various promotions – World Wrestling Council, International Wrestling Association Puerto Rico, and Coastal Championship Wrestling being just a few of the notable ones. And with those names comes an impressive list of accolades: WWC Tag Team Championship, WWC Television Championship, WWC Caribbean Heavyweight Championship, and WWC Hardcore Championship.
