Born on May 14th, 1974, in Saitama, Japan, Cherry's journey began with a humble start in judo. Little did anyone know that this petite powerhouse would become one of the most beloved and respected figures in Japanese professional wrestling.

As a freelancer, Cherry has worked tirelessly across promotions like World Wonder Ring Stardom, CHIKARA, DDT Pro Wrestling, Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling, and Big Japan Pro- Wrestling. Her Technician style, honed from years of grappling on mats, allowed her to adapt seamlessly to the ever-changing landscape of Japanese puroresu.

Cherry's impressive résumé boasts a plethora of titles, including the DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Championship, Daily Sports Tag Team Championship, Triangle Ribbon Championship, World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana Queen Elizabeth Championship, and WAVE Tag Team Championship.
